For The Record

All of the Needlebase.com links you find on this blog are dead as of today. Needlebase is shutting down this Friday so...yeah, I exported a lot of stuff this morning. Leaving each project description here for posterity.

Also—I'm not really promoting or publishing on this blog anymore because G+ is where all the action is. Circle me!

Hello Random Google Search II: The Sequel

This is a message for folks who own the Panasonic DMP-BDT320 Blu-Ray player (because my most popular post so far has been a fix for a random Firefox install bug and I guess the search terms bring it right to the top of the list).

You might ask yourself, why does this auto-configuration not work on my network?

Well, I can't explain that (maybe the firmware update I just installed will fix it), but I can tell you the default gateway error you're getting means the best solution is manually setting the IP address and fixing the subnet mask and default gateway in the player preferences. Just check wikipedia if you don't know what those terms means. For me, the default gateway was 192.168.1.1 (true for most home routers).

...and you're very welcome!
